In honor of the
Huntington Jewish Center and the generations of families who
are and have been part of our community, we are excited to
announce that we are adding new bricks to our Centennial
Plaza and Walkway
-- the site
where each of us has the opportunity to dedicate
personalized, customized bricks that will forever adorn our
synagogue property.
The
Centennial Plaza and Walkway was designed to beautify the
plaza at the school entrance to our synagogue.
As our HJC
community proudly celebrates reaching our 108th
year, we invite you to participate in this project that will
honor each other and our families and support our synagogue
programs.
The
Centennial Plaza and Walkway symbolizes the meaning that HJC
has in our lives by honoring loved ones and commemorating
cherished moments.
Whether it’s
a gold or silver anniversary, graduation, memorable
birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, birth, or memorial, these
memories can be shared whenever you and your family visit
the synagogue.
Planning your
family's brick (or bricks!) is easy and fun.
Be creative
as you reflect on the scores of ideas and milestones that
can be preserved in our brick plaza and walkway. As you do
so, remember that you will also help preserve the future of
the Huntington Jewish Center, so that your brick and its
warm message will live on for generations to come!
