Grady Elementary PTA appreciates your donation to help pay for our new Boundless Playground, Imagining Possibilities. This is a collaborative partnership with Freedom Playground Foundation Inc., The National Center for Boundless Playgrounds, Hillsborough Public Schools and CVS Pharmacy Trust.

We started to dream of a fully accessible playground last year to fully include all of our students and allow them the freedom and joy of playing together side by side. Since then we have been raising funds and awareness of the need to include everyone in play.

Approximately 15% of the student population at Grady has disabilities but this does not limit each student’s ability to play and have fun with their friends. Our playground will have surfacing, accessible equipment and elements of art and nature that will appeal to people of all abilities. We hope to start construction in September 2007.

You can help by purchasing a brick paver that will go into a special walkway and donor recognition area leading to the new playground.

Bricks are $40 for a 4 x 8 inch brick; $80 for an 8 x 8 inch brick.

We want all our administrators, teachers, students, alumni and friends to join in our effort, so PLEASE spread the word about this important project.
The pavers will be a constant reminder to celebrate our diversity and understand one another’s challenges.
