Thank you for supporting
our project with your brick purchase.
The mission of the Allen County Sheriffs Department Training
Facility is to provide a state of the art training facility that
will be utilized by the community, business sector, schools,
firefighters, medics, law enforcement officers and other first
responders. The Training Facility will not be restricted to
departments and organizations in the local area, but it will be
available on a national level.
I have always said that driving should not be learned “on the
job”. The first time our young drivers need to correct from a
skid or avoid an obstacle in the road should not be on the road
with other traffic and pedestrians present but in a controlled,
safe, environment. Integral to this outdoor training facility
will be a driving track with a skid pad and associated
classrooms that will be available to those in our community
charged with giving new drivers a sound foundation in motor
vehicle operation that will set the tone for their driving
“careers”.
In addition to drivers safety programs for the community
firearms safety programs will also be offered to the community
in the classroom facilities and on the range. Responsible
firearms ownership will help to prevent tragic firearms
accidents.

Thank you, again, for your support of this project.
Sincerely,
Kenneth C. Fries
