Boston Minuteman Council, Boy Scouts of America
Commemorative Brick Garden
at Camp
Sayre |
Last year to commemorate the grand opening of
the Egan Service Center, the Boston Minuteman Council created a
Brick Garden at
Camp
Sayre. This was such a successful project that we would like to see
it continue and grow. The funds raised help us maintain the camp
and keep the Egan Center looking beautiful. In its first year, The
Egan Service Center welcomed thousands of Scouts, parents and
volunteer through its doors for recreational activities, training
events, meetings, summer camp and much more. Bricks are a great way
to memorialize a loved one, honor a recent achievement (Eagle
Scout), honor a retiring Scoutmaster or even for a Pack to show
their support of their local camp. This beautiful and special
addition to camp is on display in front of the Egan Center by the
flagpole.
