"A Place Apart"
THE NEW PARK for THE CHILDREN OF BAY ST. LOUIS, MISSISSIPPI.
Bay St. Louis has always prided itself on being "A
Place Apart". Ravaged by Hurricane Katrina there are no
parks left standing for the young children of this gorgeous
and historic town. This program will establish a bricked
walkway into the new park & playground for children in Bay
St. Louis and will allow you to assist in paving a brighter
future of hope and promise for the future of "The Bay". The
net proceeds from all brick sales will go directly to the
building of the park - either the landscape or the equipment
for the children. We hope to have the park and playground
completed and the bricks laid by March 2006!

by eight inch brick for $50
Sponsor of the Park
four by eight inch brick for $75
Park Benefactor
four by eight inch brick for $100
The Prestigious "Bridge to the Future" eight
by eight inch brick for $250 to be placed at the very
beginning row of all the bricks
Lodging and meal accommodations will be paid for 2 people
per 8x8 brick purchase for the dedication ceremony in Bay
St. Louis, MS in the Spring of 2006.
The 4x8
brick will have space for three lines, eighteen characters
per line and the 8x8 brick will have space for six lines, 18
characters per line
I think this is a unique opportunity to get involved in a
truly life changing, deeply gratifying experience for your
soul. I know you have seen the images on television of our
brothers and sisters overcoming and persevering against

It warms my heart to think that OUR LIVES can CHANGE the
lives of children we would never have otherwise known! I
know some of my fondest childhood memories come from my
trips to the park with my Mom. My children LOVE the park at
the end of our street. I cannot imagine if they asked to go
to the park and there was not one...how would I explain
that?
MY
GOAL for this endeavor is that NO MOTHER or FATHER has
to tell their child about that awful storm or why there
is no place left to PLAY.
Commemorate a special event in someone's life, honor a
friend, family member, pet or memorialize someone
special...most important of all - be a part of the new
history of a town rich in culture and eager to rebuild!
