Building a Future, Brick by Brick
Engraved bricks provide an opportunity to remember a loved one,
a special event, commemorate your years at Andrews, or act as a
great gift to family and friends!
Your
engraved brick will not just be on some wall tucked away in the
corner of a building, but a piece of the outdoor classroom your
funds are supporting! Not only are you building a future,
brick by brick but you are making a permanent mark on
your school by investing in the education of Andrews’ next
generation.
The outdoor classroom is designed with the
help of the current 6th graders and teachers.
The location on School House Hill and the design of the outdoor
classroom pavilion celebrates the interlocking aspects promoted
on site. The site location provides a physical and visual
connection between the Andrews Valley cultural exchange
(Cherokee and early settlers), history exchange (Cherokee,
settlers, railroad, industry, and the arts), and usage (park,
education, trails, stage, environment). The design of the
pavilion draws upon the richness of the interlocking symbolism
through the two interlocking masonry walls.
Your town of Andrews thanks you for your
dedication to bettering the community.
The students and teachers in Andrews thank
you for giving them the tools to succeed.
